The Camouflage: A Premium Hand-Woven Geometric Kelim
The Camouflage is a hand-woven geometric kelim from Mae Artisan Rugs. Part of our
Kelim Collection, this flat-weave rug is woven in India from 80% wool and 20% cotton. Earthy beige, biscuit, green, and olive tones create an organic, nature-inspired pattern.
Artisanal Quality and Materials
Crafted with 80% wool and 20% cotton, the Camouflage is built for everyday life. The wool provides natural warmth and durability, while the cotton core keeps the flat-weave structure stable and prevents the pattern from warping over time. Our yarns are batch-dyed by hand, which means each rug develops subtle, organic colour variations known as abrash. No two Camouflage kelims are identical.
Styling Your Camouflage Kelim
The earthy, nature-inspired palette of the Camouflage works well in bohemian, eclectic, and earthy-toned interiors. It pairs naturally with indoor plants, rattan furniture, and textured fabrics. The multicolour design means it can tie together a room with mixed materials and colours, making it a versatile anchor piece for living areas and bedrooms.
Care and Longevity
Vacuum regularly on a low-suction setting without a beater bar. For spills, blot immediately with a clean, damp cloth. Since this is a handmade item using natural fibres, professional cleaning is recommended every 12 to 18 months. Rotating the rug every six months ensures even wear. Learn more about
