The Rose Kelim: A Premium Hand-Woven Geometric Kelim
The Rose Kelim is a hand-woven geometric kelim from Mae Artisan Rugs. Part of our
Kelim Collection, this flat-weave rug is woven in India from 80% wool and 20% cotton. The rose pattern brings a floral, organic quality to the traditional geometric kelim structure.
Artisanal Quality and Materials
Crafted with 80% wool and 20% cotton, the Rose Kelim is built for everyday life. The wool provides natural warmth and durability, while the cotton core keeps the flat-weave structure stable and prevents the rose pattern from warping over time. Our yarns are batch-dyed by hand, which means each rug develops subtle, organic colour variations known as abrash. No two Rose Kelims are identical.
Styling Your Rose Kelim
The Rose Kelim bridges the gap between traditional floral rugs and contemporary geometric design. The floral motif adds a soft, organic quality that works beautifully in bedrooms, living rooms, and sitting areas. Available in rectangular and round sizes, it can serve as a centrepiece or an accent piece depending on the room layout.
Care and Longevity
Vacuum regularly on a low-suction setting without a beater bar. For spills, blot immediately with a clean, damp cloth. Since this is a handmade item using natural fibres, professional cleaning is recommended every 12 to 18 months. Rotating the rug every six months ensures even wear. Learn more about
